About

Where Law Meets Music and Motion

Since 2015, I have been loving music and sounds a as a side-hustle while working in personal data protection law. I can analyze music, but I can just tell you, what I like or don’t like. Music is not complicated, unless you make it .

I have travelled all over the Baltics and Nordics to all kinds of music festivals, visited countless of studios and gotten over my fear of recording interviews (listening to your own voice back – how do singers do it again?). I love to network, take photos, videos, and just have a good time doing all this.

The Ultra Running Connection

I also run ultras because just suffering at work and with all the hobbies and side hustles is not enough. I aim to be the fourth Estonian woman to cover more than 200 km in 24 hours next, so I have high hopes.

I love listening to music during my 4+ hour long runs, sometimes it feels like a mediatation.

My Approach

I respect and love all kinds of sounds, designs and music. But I am honest. Meaning I can find something good to say about every track, but I will also critique, if necessary.

Recently, I’ve expanded my musical involvement as social media manager for Giantapes, a trailer music company whose work bridges the gap between visual storytelling and sonic emotion. This has opened new avenues for understanding how music functions beyond pure listening experiences.

Back to the Roots

Here I have collected both of my previous reviews as well as new stuff. A lot of excitement is. sure to come!

Join me as I continue this exploration, bringing together years of festival dust, studio conversations, and runner’s reflections to create a space where music matters beyond the algorithm.

I’m Signe

Lawyer by day and music journalist by night, running ultras left and right…

Sound Verdict didn’t start with a press pass — it started when I livetweeted the Norwegian music awards, DM’d a hip-hop legend, and ended up in his Oslo studio. Sometimes you just ask.

Here you can find everything about me and music, including reviews, candid artist interviews, and moments captured through my lens. New content drops regularly. Stay tuned.
